Leder-Bök® spray is absorbed into the suede or nubuck to give some resistance to water, penetration and staining, and also to slow down hardening of the suede whilst drying out.
If used regularly, Leder-Bök will help keep suede/Nubuck more flexible, (subject to slow, drying out and following instructions for use).
On Nubuck, (not suede), Leder-Bök can be used along with a follow-up coating of Leder-Gris to give a longer lasting water repellent treatment - treatment with Leder-Gris will change the looks of the Nubuk to a more oily/waxed appearance. (Note - this change of appearance is not reversible).
