I saw this bag on the website, having come in on spec for a standard military camelback reservoir for a motorbike trip, that Steve found and had one in stock for me (that’s fabulous by the way). The thought of this bag then niggled away at me since until I had to go and look as the stock said it was the last one.
Once Steve got it out for me to look at, that was it, no brainer - I had to have it there and then. The quality is fantastic, the capacity, the set up of the zipping and the military spec hydration system.
The back system also comfortably adjusts to my taller frame (6’5”) which I have previously found an issue on any bag less than 75l. This bag had big shoes to fill replacing my near 30 year old Norwegian army surplus daypack, but I truly couldn’t be happier, I can’t wait to get up the mountains in Scotland in a few weeks with this.
My overall impression of this bag is it will outlast me and I’ll be giving it to my kids to carry on with once my outdoor adventures cease.
Lesson learned, don’t look at this website again unless I plan on buying as there is stuff here you won’t find elsewhere with a store owner who knows all about it and will give you the time and all the information you need to know.
Finally, I was having it anyway, but I did look after I got to work and you can’t argue, the price at this store was fantastic. I really can’t fault anything. Happy customer, great service, great product.
