Responding directly to the needs of military, SF and law enforcement personnel, the Z8N is a ‘hybrid’ boot that’s built to perform expertly for a versatile range of tasks. Operators needed a boot that sat between a traditional combat boot and a lightweight military boot. That’s why we developed the LOWA Z8N Gore-Tex® military boot.
Building upon the innovative features of the highly popular LOWA Zephyr military boot, the Z8N is lightweight like a hiking boot, yet still offers the maximum stability and protection required of a tactical boot. The uppers are made of a combination of durable nubuck leather and Cordura® offering protection in challenging environments, whilst still offering the flexibility required to keep feet comfortable at all times.
A Tactical Z Trac® sole unit provides enhanced grip and support when trekking over uneven terrain, whilst a patented Monowrap® PU midsole provides additional protection and comfort for the feet when exercising over long periods of time. These features, combined with a unique fast rope insert ensure these LOWA military boots are unrivalled in performance, durability and support.
The Gore-Tex® extended comfort footwear lining on these LOWA military boots keeps water out, whilst allowing sweat and moisture to escape the boot, allowing feet to breathe. What's more, the boot's abrasion-resistant laces are easy to adjust and ensure that the boot is durable in challenging terrains. This along with the Gore-Tex® makes the Z8N military boots perfect for use in warmer climates.
