The Altberg Base boot is a strong 2-3 season lightweight boot. The upper is a combination of Suede and Cordura fabric; essentially an unlined Yan Tan Boot and the design gives excellent ankle support on rough terrain. The last/fitting is the new ergonomic A-Forme, which allows the foot to take up its natural alignment in the boot, whilst supporting the arch and instep during the walking gait.
The midsole is Tri-flex® 3 season, with good torsional resistance and resistance to flex on rough terrain. The sole is Vibram Tsavo, with a shock absorbing micro midlayer to give heel strike cushioning on rough terrain.
